Q: What is the cost for a wine room?
A: Costs vary depending on size and selections for finishes, and also how much “rough” trade work is needed. Wolfepack Renovation is competitive on pricing in the wine room construction industry and usually beats competitors by around 10-20%.
Q: Does my wine room need to be in a basement?
A: No, wine rooms can be on main levels or even upstairs. It is all about proper insulation and an adequately sized chiller unit to keep temperature controlled. Basements are great locations for wine rooms as they are naturally cooler than the rest of your home.
Q: How long does it take start to finish to build a wine room?
A: There are always surprises in construction that cause delays, however a rough estimate is 6-8 working weeks.
Q: Will I have to manage any part of the process myself?
A: We always value your input in the process so that you love your wine room! However, all Wolfepack Renovation projects are “turn-key.” We manage all trades and address any concerns you have with our subs so you don’t have to worry about negotiating with contractors.
Q: Can I use a different wine rack supplier?
A: Wolfepack Renovation is happy to work with other suppliers. We receive no referral fees or “kick-backs” with Wine Racks America, but we do recommend them as they provide free design services, stand by their warranty, offer competitive pricing, and have great racking options.
